Again, no, I’m not 85. Sewing is something I’ve taken to in the recent years as a hobby and interest, with a little bit of sales potential sprinkled in here and there.
I feel that sewing is a trademark asset that every empowered woman should have. As you get to know me, you’ll learn we strive to live a simpler life. Learning to sew is one of those homesteading skills that gets us a little closer to that lifestyle.
Admittedly, I would consider myself an eager beginner. I’m willing to sew just about anything – for my family. If asked to do certain mending jobs for others I will back into a corner and cower like a little puppy. Although I would probably be able to pull it off, I’m not confident enough at some of the finer points of the art, yet.
So, please, help a sister out and give me YOUR tips & tricks, videos, and favourite fabric shops to check out. I’d love to connect over something that is rare in my circle of friends.
