These 3 Foods Reduce Health Problems
Flaxseeds
You may well have heard something of a beneficial nature of flaxseeds, but not yet got around to incorporating them into your diet. However, it is pretty easy to do that, so long as you are prepared to make a few small changes. You can sprinkle flaxseeds onto your cereal, you can whizz them up into a smoothie, or you can add them into a curry or pretty much any savoury dish of that kind. Their taste is subtle enough that you often don’t even notice they are there, and yet the health benefits of eating just a tablespoon of them a day are profound. You can expect less risk of heart disease, diabetes and many kinds of cancer with just this small amount, making flaxseeds absolutely one of the best possible additions to your diet that you can make.
Dragon Fruit
This delicious, strange looking fruit is something you don’t see every day – but you can usually find it in asian supermarkets and many markets around the world. If you can get hold of dragon fruit, you should do, as it is extremely good for you in a number of ways. One of the benefits of dragon fruit which we are especially concerned with here is that it is known to reduce your risk of developing diabetes, which is one of the top killers in the world. Eating just a couple of portions a week is enough to have this effect, although you will of course find that eating more is likely to be even more so. Put it in your muesli, or just eat it as it is – either way, it’s going to help you out massively in later life.
Blueberries
Thank god for blueberries! Not only are they incredibly delicious to the point of being almost addictive, but they are absolutely packed full of antioxidants. These are what help you to fight off cancers, and there have even been cases of people reversing their cancer by eating plenty of things like blueberries. Of course, I’d recommend if you have cancer that you still seek the medical attention you likely need, but in the meantime you can drastically reduce your chance of developing all kinds of cancer in the first place by eating plenty of blueberries. Thankfully, that is hardly a hard ask.
